As of 2017, we are recognized as a 5 star chapter through both Adelphi University and our National Headquarters. Five star is granted based on philanthropic, scholarship, and social excellence.

This past summer at Delta Phi Epsilon's International Leadership Forum, the Lambda chapter was awarded the Rita E. Rossner Cup. This honor is awarded to the one chapter that has attained the highest standards in scholarship, extra-curricular activities, and community service, all while fulfilling university and organization expectations.

The sisters of the Lambda chapter are very involved on campus, whether it comes to Panhellenic events, becoming Orientation Leaders, Resident Assistant's, Class presidents, or joining clubs outside of Greek life you will likely to find a sister of DPhiE.

Our sisters have a great time throughout the year at social events. Some events include sisterhood retreats, sleepovers, ice skating, and Sunday brunches. We hold mixers as to strengthen our relationships with both fraternities and sororities. Many have fun themes such as Marvel superheroes and Disney. In addition to mixers, we participate in Greek Week with all of Greek life on campus. The past five years we have taken home to crown for the Greek Goddess competition.

Many of our sisters have participated in Adelphi Study Abroad programs. We have traveled to London, Paris, Italy, Australia, Costa Rica, and many more countries!

Aside from mixers we hold both a Winter Crush and a Spring Formal, for sisters and alumna to enjoy. Our past formals were held at the Winners Circle Nite Club and Best Western Mill River Manor Country Club.
